The Hyde Hotel is about 200 metres from Paddington railway station and is situated approximately half a mile from Hyde Park. It is ideally located and offers easy access to many places including:
1) Hyde Park - If you enjoy taking a nice walk or gentle run before breakfast or afterwards this is an ideal place to visit. It is only half a mile from the hotel. Work off those extra calories and keep fit during your holiday!
2) Oxford Street - With its array of shops, which are always very popular, and only one mile from the hotel. So if you enjoy shopping its the place to visit.
3) Madame Tussauds - The famous celebrity waxworks and their amazing likeness to the actual person, can be found again just one mile from the hotel.
4) The Portbello Road market - You may remember this featuring in the film Notting Hill starring Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts. They have a special antique market on Saturdays, which is worth visiting. This is approximately one mile from the Hyde Hotel.
5) Buckingham Palace - The Queens official residence is just two miles from the hotel. The changing of the guard ceremony is not to be missed. And if you visit London during the period 31st July to 25th September 2007 you can take in a tour of the Palace itself.
